Student Organizations

Arnold Air Society

AAS is a military affiliated nonprofit student organization that is dedicated to produce quality leaders for the US Air Force through professionalism, honor, and service to the community. The mission is to create a more efficient relationship among Air Force officer candidates in particular within the AFROTC, aid in the development of effective Air Force officers, and to further the purpose, traditions, and concepts of the United States Air Force. The Arnold Air Society hosts the annual Trot for the Troops 5K, with proceeds raised for Fisher House, which provides a “home away from home” for military families to be close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury. For more information about the Air Force ROTC at the University of North Texas, call 940-565-2074 or go to the website http://afrotc.unt.edu/.
